A helyi iparűzési adó (HIPA) az önkormányzatok legfőbb saját bevételi forrása. Ennek megfelezése a koronavírus járványra való hivatkozással alapvető finanszírozási forrásától fosztotta meg az önkormányzatokat. Hogy ez így van, azt a kormány is elismerte azzal, hogy kompenzációt nyújtott a településeknek a kieső bevételek pótlására. A döntően fideszes vezetésű, 25.000 fő alatti településeknek automatikusan, az efölötti lélekszámú településeknek egyedi döntések alapján. Ezek az egyedi döntések azonban korántsem függetlenek a települések vezetésének politikai színezetétől. Budapest például egyetlen fillér HIPA kompenzációt sem kapott. De máshol sem ugyanannyit ér egy ellenzéki vagy független vezetésű településen élő polgár, mint egy fideszes vezetésű településen élő társa. Konkértan két és félszer kevesebbet. Átlagosan ennyivel kevesebb egy főre eső kompenzációt kapott az ellenzéki/független vezetésű településen élő közel 2 millió 600, mint a fideszes vezetésű településeken élő 1 milló 372 magyar állampolgár.
Tudjuk a kormánytól, hogy az inflációhoz és a forintárfolyamhoz a kormánynak semmi köze (mondjuk akkor minek van a kormány), az kizárólag az ukrajnai háború következménye. A forint ehhez képest a háború kezdete óta az ukrán hrivnyához képest is 25%-ot vesztett az értékéből. Mivel a kormány nyilván nem hazudik, egyetlen magyarázat van, hogy valahogyan jobban belesodródtunk ebbe a háborúba, mint Ukrajna maga. Ami megmagyarázza azt is, hogy miért Magyarországon van egyedül háborús veszélyhelyzet a kontinensen. Mondjuk nem pont ezzel riogattak tavasszal, hogy ez fog történni az ellenzék győzelme esetén?!
